“Teen Thrive” Youth Wellness Program
Sundays, September 11 – November 13
5:00pm to 6:30pm in the Commons
The Teen Thrive Youth Wellness Program offers a positive framework for young people to develop healthy strategies to manage stress and anxiety as they navigate our complex world and learn not only how to survive but how to flourish and thrive. This program will utilize guided meditation, yoga, breathing techniques and sound therapy while introducing spiritual tools such as radical acceptance, forgiveness, and gratitude. Sessions will be led by Cheri Tigh with support from Vicar Brandi Hebert and a caring team of professionals in the education, mental health, counseling, and wellness fields.
This program is open to all high school youth, regardless of faith tradition, and is free of charge. Sessions will meet at Lutheran Church of God’s Love in the Commons area. Registration is rolling and will remain open throughout the program.
