Christian education for all ages is offered weekly on Sunday mornings from September through May. Classes are grouped by age and meet from 10:00am to 10:45am. Additional learning opportunities and resources are also offered throughout the year.

Children’s Ministry

Our Sunday Morning Children’s Ministry program is designed for children in Pre-K through grade 6 (younger children are welcome in the staffed nursery). The program runs from September through May and new students are welcome to join at any time.

Classes are grouped by age with lessons that follow the Augsburg Press Spark Classroom curriculum. Each classroom is staffed with a volunteer adult teacher and assistant.

Confirmation

The God’s Love Confirmation program begins in 7th grade and runs through the fall of 9th grade. Classes are taught by the pastor and volunteer adult mentors. New students are welcome. Please contact the church office for additional information.

Youth Ministry

Our Sunday Morning Youth Education program is designed for youth in grades 7-12. The theme of this program is “think. believe. do.”, inviting youth to use their experiences to explore core faith concepts and discover what they believe. Newcomers are welcome any time.

Adult Faith & Life

Through the Adult Faith and Life program, participants seek to connect their faith to their everyday lives, grow in faith through learning, and strengthen and nurture the church community through personal relationships and connections. The class meets on Sunday mornings to study and discuss a variety of topics.

Additional Learning Opportunities

Vacation Bible School

VBS is a week-long Christian summer day camp program held the first week of August from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, for children entering kindergarten through 6th grade. Registration begins in the spring and is open to children of all faith traditions. (This program is still on hold from the pandemic.)

Bible Studies

Midweek bible studies are typically held during the seasons of Lent (before Easter) and Advent (before Christmas). These studies are led by the pastor. A bi-monthly men’s gathering and a weekly women’s gathering are additional bible study options. 

Ministry Resources

Visit the Ministry Resource table in the Commons for a selection of on-loan books and other resources on a variety of spiritual themes. The theme is updated regularly.
